Our soaps are made using 100% pure vegetable glycerin base which also meets the strict Vegan guidelines. Our soaps are non-comedogenic and does not clog pores. Glycerin is known for its skin softening properties and acts as a natural humectant. Humectants are substances that attract and retain moisture. For the skin to remain supple, soft and elastic, it is essential for the skin to stay moist and maintain hydration. Glycerine soaps aid in absorbing water from the air and bringing it directly to your skin. Handmade glycerine soaps retain the natural glycerine that is formed during the soapmaking process. Glycerine soap is gentle on sensitive skin and for children.
We primarily use fragrance oils for scenting our soaps, but also offer soaps scented with essential oils. We add cosmetic grade colorants, micas & glitters to make our soaps unique and fun. Everything we use is cosmetic grade and safe for skin care products. For natural exfoliation we add things like loofah, pumice, seeds, oatmeal, tea and even dried herbs. If you would like your soap made without additional fragrances and colorants we can offer "natural" bars. Just order under Special Order Soaps and select, no color, no fragrance and you even have a choice if you'd like it with clear base or white.
Our soaps range in weight from 3 to 4.5 oz depending on variety. They are all handcut and may vary in size, shape and color from batch to batch. |
